The most intrecate part is overspray, you need to plan ahead which part can or cannot be covered in overspray.

All thats left is the pillows and the seat in the back, we sprayed a couple of these, watch the smooth outer side, one pass all the way round.

The base for this mold was scaffolding with plywood, we then took gps measuring from the plywood to fit the square blocks and milled the styrofoam topside to create the concrete bridge from this mold,

The white stripes is caulk, the black ones are rubber strips which create the beautifill lines on the bridge.

The rebar in the middle is a very small part of the total, the polyurea should be hard enough not to deform from all the rebar

30 metric tonnes of pure polyurea was used to make this mold and making it the worlds largest polyurea mold

this styrofoam giant was created bij chainsaw! unbelievable, the hard part was, in stead of milled styrofoam , this surface was very rough, but it needed 5 mm of polyurea anyways.

we were competing against the regular fiberglass people, the needed 6 weeks of work with 2 men.

we started at 8 am and retracted at 6 pm! same day!

Concrete prepped with sika floor and sika guard, then primed with a tixotrophic epoxy primer, this is a really thick film primer which we put on with a scoop and fills all the bug an pinholes in one pass.

then 3 passes of polyurea, topcoat and a finish with chlorine resitant clearcoat.

note:a specially modified polyurea is used for pools

These are the elements which make the "gasstation for the future" in antwerp, 2 large buildings we created out of milled styrofoam blocks.

it took us 4 months and 35 tests before we passed the stringent fire test needed for gasstations.

in the end we used micro encapsulated nitrate (fertilizer almost)in the amine to pass the test, normally its a les intrecate fluid fire retardant.

35 metric tonnes of pure polyurea, completed the entire structures in 7 months making it the worlds largest free standing object in polyurea

Not only did we spray these blocks, but because nobody heard of polyurea there wasn"t anybody who wanted to build it , so we built the objects also'.

BUILDING ISLANDS ON THE SPOT..EPS COATED WITH PURE POLYUREA

At first they build these island with plain styrofoam, but in the cavities of the foam larvea can hatch and moulds built up.

A polyurea with anti-microbial additive should be used for the objects.

The whole island took us 12 on the job spraying days

Again styrofoam furniture, in our shop and on location our specialistst have over 50 metric tonnes of expereance in spraying furniture with pure polyurea.

Again a warning, make sure you create a completely sealed film with your primer, polyurea is vapor-open, once you start heating the water ,heat transmission from the hot water to the cold concrete caries vapor, which, if theres cavities left in the concrete accumulate there and create pressurized bubbles underneath the polyurea.

This is a common (but very cotsly)mistake for newly started polyurea companies

This is where we use our very soft polyurea, 3 mm in the front 8 mm in the back.

The filosofy behind this client is , the trailers run for 12 years, just as long as the truck pulling it is.

Normally , the aluminum wears of after 6 years, when sprayed the polyurea lasts 6 before is starts at the aluminum, so 12 years total.
